What fruit do you think of when you see our Tapir Baby from schleich WILD LIFE? Thats right! Its stripes and spots look a little like a watermelon. The fun pattern fades as it grows up. As it grows, the little greedy guts puts on a lot of weight. As an adult, your little trunked friend weighs almost as much as a horse. Wow. Thats heavy. But it can also be very useful. It can simply lean against trees to knock them over. Then the Tapir calf can get to the most delicious fruits at the very top. A truly impressive animal! Until then, however, it prefers leaning on your schoolbag. Not to knock it over, but simply because its cozy.
The Schleich figurines are all modelled in finest detail and encourage children to play and learn at the same time.
